Sakthi Spring Forms Private Ltd was established in 1996 to produce Spring Steel Sheet Metal Pressed Parts for automobile and other industrial applications. The company is abreast of the latest developments in technology. The press shop is equipped with power presses, ranging from 10 to 40 tonnes, with auto feeder facility and fly press of range 2 to 5 tonnes. Flexibility has been built-in to the lay out of the plant, thus making it possible to manufacture final products in all range. A state-of-the-art precision tool room is capable of maintaining and producing self-sufficient press tools. Integrated with advanced CAD systems and highly sophisticated in-house facilities enable production of quality press tools with short lead time. All components are hardened and tempered to customer requirements. This is achieved by hardening in shaker hearth furnace and tempering in vertically forced air circulating furnace. Austempering process can be carried out with protective nitrogen atmosphere. Finish is carried out by barrelling and in special cases by centrifugal polishing machine, to achieve good surface finish. Quality control: a comprehensively equipped quality and process control division is pivotal to successful production of quality springs. Every process in the production cycle is monitored and controlled from this department. The products: special springs – special springs are custom-made with stringent dimensional aspects and processed without any dimensional distortion; dowel pins – these pins are rolled from cold-pressed spring bound steel and provide connections with high degree of fatigue strength. These hollow cylinders are rolled from strip material leaving a split along with their longitudinal axis. Due to their, radial elasticity they easily absorb all shocks and impacts; washers and wave washers – meet stringent load conditions established by our customers to meet international standards; clips and springs – precision locking clips and springs with high degree of stiffness; and circlips and retaining rings – are widely used in automobile OEs and other fastening purposes.
