Hegde Precision Products Pvt Ltd (HPPL), an ISO 9001-2008 company, has set its mark in the field of Sheet Metal Pressed Components for auto sector, consumer durable parts, textile machinery parts, etc. Though automobile engine cup plugs manufacturing has remained the core product strength of the company, it also manufactures filters, brackets, washers, steering tie-rod end parts, machine parts and recently commenced fine blanking; the company can undertake challenges in the production of consumer durables parts, and sheet metal parts, etc. Quality, precision and performance, from start to finish, is the motto. Process highlights include: auto strip feeding for 1st operation, with productivity improvements up to 60%; and low cost automation using pneumatics for CO2 welding. The company serves both original equipment and replacement market segments. It makes about 58 components per month on a regular basis and can accommodate custom made solutions, as per clients’ requirements. Major clients include Ashok Leyland, Simpson (Perkins), Greaves (generator engines), and many more.
