Precision Drawn Special Steel Profiles

Calvi special profiles are the result of a high-precision drawing process based on customer specifications and drawings. They can be made of common steel as well as high-quality, special, and stainless steels, and for countless applications in all metalworking industry segments. Calvi profiles are becoming increasing popular both because of the high level of product quality and because they provide significant savings in terms of weight and in manufacturing time and cost for all production processes. These are a few examples of potential applications: linear guides, textile machinery, office machines, woodworking machines, packaging machines, machine tools, printing machines, hunting rifles and firearms, automobiles, farm machinery. Profile measurements and quality: width – 6-180 mm; thickness – 3-60 mm; cross-section – 25-10,000 mm2 (from 0.050 to approx 75 kg/m); steel – low and high carbon steel, case-hardening steel, medium-high alloys and stainless steels; in compliance with standards required by the customer UNI – DIN – AISI – SAE – AFNO – BS – JIS, etc; tolerance – ±0.10 mm, but also ISO h 9 and, upon customer request, ±0.02 mm; and length – up to 10 metres.
