Wire Rope Isolators

Shavo Technologies offers Wire Rope Isolators. It is compact, cost-effective and provides simultaneous shock and vibration attenuation when package space is at a premium. It is of patented, symmetrical design and easy single-point installation, providing consistent, multi-axis isolation over the life of a system. Its small size provides isolation of critical individual components, rather than the entire system, allowing for economical and high-performance system designs. The all-metal design (stranded 300 Series stainless steel cable and aluminium alloy retaining bars, treated per MIL-C-5541) is unaffected by chemicals, oils, ozone and abrasives; requires no maintenance; and is especially suited for use in corrosive or hostile environments. Standard products can accommodate load capacities from 4 up to 34 kg; operate under temperature extremes of -100° to +260°C; and can readily conform to numerous military standards and industry specifications. The design allows it to be used in a variety of applications, including CD-ROM drives and disk drives; laboratory centrifuges, medical ventilators and other devices; audio-visual equipment; mobile communications packages; avionics; catering carts; small pumps and motors; and sensitive electronic equipment.
