Wheel Balancer, Computerised

Neptune Equipment offers a computerised wheel balancer, Model MT 500, suitable for balancing of wheels up to 65 kg in weight, 22"in rim diameter and 12"in width. Wheel data is entered by front panel potentiometers. The machine is then started, the measuring run is made automatically and within 3 seconds the roadings appear on the LED display. The degree of precision with which measurements are displayed can be changed to fine, medium or coarse, ie, 0 g, 5 g or 10 g. Wheel data can be corrected by readjusting the potentiometers even after the wheel is spun. A complete automatic self-check is carried out everytime the unit is switched on. The operator of the machine can calibrate the unit from the front panel by simple two step procedure, to keep it accurate, for which no special tools or gauges are required as it is fully microprocessor based. A unique feature of the unit is its ability to display operator, power supply or circuit failure faults as error codes on the display. The machine has approval of leading automobile and tyre manufacturers.
