Carver Wear Plates are manufactured by powder fused welding process, which enables a constant, evenly fused hypereutectic chrome alloy layer on mild steel back-up plate. This process guarantees the highest bond strength between the alloy matrix and back-up plate. Carver wear plates have been tested under both impact and abrasive environments and found to outperform all types of quench and tempered steel.
