VOLUMETRIC SCREW FEEDER WITH SPACE SAVING DESIGN

Metalfab offers a compact, direct drive, Volumetric Screw Feeder, MetatechTM (16" x 14" footprint), with space saving design. The Volumetric Screw Feeder is used for highly accurate metering of powders, pellets, flakes and agglomerates. The Metatech Feeder features only 2 or 3 moving parts (depending upon screw size), O-ring seals for safe, dust-free operation, and a Teflon rear seal for years of maintenance-free service. Interchangeable screw/tube combinations from 1" to 6" permit feed rates from 0.3 to 550 cu.ft/hr and a unique agitator/conditioner screw completely fills the feed screw for high accuracy of ±1 to 11/2%. The feeder"s versatile design also accommodates other Metalfab upstream/downstream equipment such as Convey-A11 FSC flexible screw conveyors, VTC vibratory tube conveyors, bulk bag unloaders, Posibin bins and bin activators, hoppers, bag dump stations, dry material blenders, and belt feeders. The company also manufactures dry solids processing equipment.
