Goyum Screw Press (Oil Expeller Division) offers Vacuum Type Destoner. Totally enclosed system for dust free operation with easy to operate controls for Speed Feed Pitch Elevation and Air for high degree of accuracy The basic principle of the destoner - or stoner -Involves flowing dry granular material over an inclined, vibrating, screen covered deck. Vacuum air is pulled through the deck, and through the bed of material. The steady air flow holds the product in stratified floatation - lighter material in the upper strata - as it flows down the inclined vibrating deck. "Heavier-than-product" material such as stones, glass, metal etc, travel uphill and out. The product itself flows downhill, and at the discharge end of the deck. We can "skim off" and divert the top part of the bed which contains all the lighter Impurities for further purification, as on a gravity table. The bottom portion of the bed consists of gravity pure, finished product that often needs no further refinement.
