Microtorr Vacuum Systems Pvt. Ltd. offers Vacuum Arc Remelting. The chamber of this system has water cooled casting or button mould and water cooled feed through with arc melting electrode. The crucible and the electrode are connected externally to high voltage power source for melting. The water cooled high current electrode feed through is assembled through a bellow seal flange which allows linear movement. A high frequency unit initiates the first striking of arc through conveniently located push buttons. During melting and casting the mould is kept over stainless steel platform and the molten metal is easily be poured into moulds with the aid of an externally located handle.
