Linkwell Telesystems offers Utility Modems, Visiontek 81 G. It is used for automated meter reading and substation automation solutions; remote data communication product for SCADA solution; and embedded intelligence permits control of remote devices through I/O ports with SMS. Features: multi-band GSM/ GPRS module; in-built power supply (90-270 V AC); RS-232 port for supporting remote control by AT commands; 8 ports to monitor/ drive alarm conditions; and programming over air/ through, serial port. Accessories: modem cable, power cable, standard rubber antenna - for regular GSM coverage areas. Areas of usage: SCADA applications, automatic meter reading applications, standby to leased lines for data transfer in critical services (ATMs, etc); remote data capture for large R&D requirements, news agencies, broadcast agencies, weather agencies, etc; mobile operated vending machines; and security and access control systems.
