UTILITY AUTOMATION & MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (UAMS)

Powertech Electronics offers Utility Automation & Management System (UAMS). It is a system for complete and continuous monitoring and controlling of multiple engineering instruments installed at various sites. A processor based instrument scans the digital/analogue inputs (state of relays, buttons, power supply, temperature, humidity, etc), continuously. Changes in the state are recorded and analysed. This data is also transmitted to central server for recording, analysis and generation of alarms. Continuous monitoring the performance, controlling of the operations, changing value and parameters of all gadgets from any of the computer via website with full confidentiality. This embedded microprocessor based system, universal remote controller (URC) at the remote station, which will get itself connected to the web based central server for two-way communication. It will periodically communicate automatically with the PC at central station and send data as and receive commands. It will display status as well as progress of its activities on its LCD display at all times. It will also generate log messages for local consumption, which may be optionally recorded. It can senses, monitor and controls all electrical parameters (digitally), ie, V/I/Freq/Pf/KW/KWH/time/active power/reactive power/temperature/humidity/fire, etc. It will provide an alarm to the central server in case any abnormality is found in any of the above parameters and will also take corresponding corrective action. Remote monitoring and control between URC and central server is performed through dedicated web based software system.
