Apex Corporation offers Secure disk. The product is a powerful mechanism which use flash memory as the storage medium. It supports USB plug and play. Data stored in the secure disk drive can be stored for up to ten years, and its read/write speed is fifteen times faster than floppy disks. It can be used for storing all kinds of data such as MP3 files, CAD files, E-mail, accounting files, etc. It can be sent from branch office to head office and back by courier without data corruption unlike a floppy disk. Its storage capacity is many times greater than a floppy disk. The secure disk drive can be used even without the hardware driver in computers running Windows 2000/Me/XP operating systems. It also contains four kinds of powerful software-secret encryption, FlashZip compression, PCLock, and FlashMail which greatly enhance the capabilities of the product. A USB extension cable is provided as part of the standard package. The USB Secure Disk Drive comes with a 1 year replacement warranty against manufacturing defects.
