Universal microprocessor based controller

Meascon is a universal microprocessor based controller, which provides 2-channel analogue or frequency type inputs, 1-channel analogue output for close loop control and 8 digital I/Os for external interface. The controller facilitates menu driven programming to set range and type of measuring channel and type of control output, set value of control parameter and alarm limits of measuring parameter for maximum, minimum and warning levels. The controller can measure frequency input such as encoder/magnetic pickup signals from flow meter or engine/motor and analogue inputs like temperature, humidity, pressure, PH value, etc. At control output loads such as stepper motor drive, frequency drive, DC drive, heaters, solenoids can be connected. For monitoring and ease of operation, 16x2 alphanumeric LCM with backlit and 8 flexibly definable keys are provided. For remote monitoring and long distance view specially designed 20-digit 7-segment LED display is available. Both display monitors actual and set value of measured parameter along with alarm status. Custom built program on demand and RS 232 interface is available. Integrating Meascon along with several other external devices the user can configure his system to meet maximum tailor made applications ensuring best returns. Typical applications: motorized actuators, alarm annunciation and monitoring for process control management and various industrial automation applications such as material handling, machine automation, etc.
