Universal machining centre, mc 35

Perfect Tools, specialised in universal tool room milling machines and SPMs, has launched a universal machining centre, Model MC 35. The integrated spindle on MC 35 has been designed to run at 10000 RPM with very low vibration and heat generation. Components like angular contact bearings and mechanisms like accurate balancing are the keys. The result is increased accuracy and stability and superior cutting efficiency. The spindle has the capability of through and flush coolant restricting temperature rises during high-speed cutting. Another extremely useful feature is rigid tapping, which is not provided by any machine of its class. The tool clamp technology makes vibration almost nil during high-speed rotation. All the three axes of MC 35 have ultra precision ballscrews directly coupled with high responsive motors in the centre of modern lm guideways and close to the cutting point. These technologies give the machine excellent positioning accuracies and feed rates necessary for high volume production. The optimum pretension and preload eliminates any backlash. Every slideway has been hand scrapped and its advantages need not be emphasized. Telescopic steel covers are used on all axes to avoid foreign particles.
