Universal grinding machines - type WS/DS

Korber Schleifring GmbH offers universal grinding machines - type WS/DS, suitable for grinding and regrinding of high precision tools. Model WS 11 is used for grinding workpieces including those of miniature type produced in tungsten carbide, HSS or other materials. The machine's kinematics allows the grinding and measurement inspection to take place in the single clamping. Single parts as well as small to medium batches can be ground equally economically. Depending on the material to be ground the machine can be equipped with diamond, CBN, vitrified or special wheels. Model WS 11 SP is a further development of WS 11. Cylindrical and tapered tools with either straight or spiral flutes can be ground and inspected in one clamping. Model DS 1 is for the production of high precision tools produced in tungsten carbide or HSS. This is available as a four-axis CNC controlled machine or can be equipped for manual operation.
