Unique Equipments offers Unique Gravity Feed Metal Detectors, GFMD - 50. This detector is effective at removing metal particles from bulk drugs, granules, spices Powder, Whole Spices, and all other free flowing materials via a reject outlet. This detector range has been specially designed to meet the hygiene standards of the food and pharmaceutical industry. The aperture tunnel of these metal detectors are built with circular openings and are generally used with bagging machinery, multi-head weighers and form, fill and seal machines; where metal detection raises an alarm signal. The detectors have been designed for the efficient and reliable rejection of metal contaminants, without interruption to the flow of material, even at high throughput speeds. The detectors works on the inductive measuring principle. A high frequency electromagnetic field is generated. If a metal object passes though the metal detectors, the detector experiences a change in the field based on the magnetic and electrical properties of the metal objects. All type of metal (ferrous, non ferrous and stainless steel) is detected. For the removal of metal-contamination, the metal detectors is provided with a pneumatic/ electrical solenoid valve. Metal contaminants are rejected by a flap type reject mechanism. The detectors and its reject valve are fastened to a stand and are mounted upon wheels for easy mobility. Rectangular and larger throughput system are also available, suitable for floor or suspended mountings. Stainless steel metal detectors, construction can be supplied with throughput rates up to 25,000 kgs. Gravity feed metal detectors digital and analog models are available.
