Uninterruptible Power Supply System

Electricity failure or problems can pose a threat to sensitive equipment like computers. Power disturbances can be of the following types: undervoltage/overvoltage, switching disturbances, or spikes/surges. Instachange is a stand-alone UPS in which, when the power fails or drops below a certain level, the UPS switches from normal electricity to battery-generated electrical power. This system reverts to normal power when normal electricity resumes within safer limits. Instachange offers changeover time of less than 10 milliseconds for models above 1 kVA and even less than 7 milliseconds for models below 1 kVA. It also gives an option of dry type as well as stationary batteries for longer backup time, say, more than 1 hour to keep the office or EDP department working hours together without interruption. Its features include automatic operation with speed along with battery protection, electronic overload protection with fuse and MCB protection.
