Uninterruptible power supply

The Powerex Uninterruptible power system(UPS) is a solid state ferro-resonant controlled AC power supply equipped with battery backup for continuous, uninterrupted operation during a commercial line failure. The necessity for uninterruptible power systems has been generated by the use of sophisticated AC devices such as computers and microprocessor based systems. Any application of a critical AC operated electronic device or system is a possible candidate for a Powerex UPS. Exclusive feature: brownout protection. Ferro-resonant features: regulated voltage output, waveshaping, inherent output short circuit protection. UPS system features: total isolation, output overload, system reliability, solid-state transfer switch, battery types, battery protection, start/stop operation. Alarms/indications: DC supply On, battery reverse polarity, inverter On, DC supply under/over voltage (trip), battery discharged, inverter output voltage low, and operation of UPS system.
