Twilight Switch

Electro-Arts offers twilight switch, Model STD 101, for energy conservation for various types of electrical installations and required applications. This is also known as dawn-dusk switch or automatic light controller. It works on photoelectric principle. Lights are turned on in the evening after sensing the dark outside and are switched off in the morning after sensing the daylight outside. So lights are kept on only when they are actually required and wastage of electricity is avoided. The unit works on 220 V AC supply and offers potential free relay change over contacts for further interlock. Maximum load available is 1000 W. By using contactors, higher load also can be controlled. Sensitivity adjustment is provided. Power consumption is below 3 W. It is wall-mounting type and can be placed at any convenient location. The unit has a built-in sensor and depending on direction of light the sensor can be placed. The same sensor can also be placed outside the unit at any required distance. Areas of application are bungalows/houses, markets, factories, street lighting, advertisement boards, etc. Various models are also available for different requirements.
