Turret machining centre

A tough, dependable and accurate turret offers a competitive cutting edge. Pressmach turret machining centres are the epitome of high quality in CNC machines. The latest in user-friendly Siemens 802 D controls interfaced with the turret makes it a cut above the rest. The machine bed, column and slides are stress relieved, stabilised and precision machined to maintain rigidity and accuracy. Precision ball screws and LM guides provide easy and accurate movement of axes travel. Centralised and metered lubrication system is provided for ball screws and LM guideways. Coolant through spindle is standard equipment. The turret consists of 6, 8 or 12 stations. Turrets for drilling, tapping, milling and boring operations designed for medium and large size batch production. It is possible to machine complex or simple work pieces in minimum chip-to-chip time. Other features: quick tool change and greater flexibility by simple re-tooling and set-up features; overload device protects turret during indexing; a common motor drives turret and tools with only the tool in working position being driven; and high speed indexing due to AC servo technology with bi-directional drive. Operator panel includes 10.4" LCD and machine control panel with axis and feed override functions.
