Thread grinding machines - RV3000

Thread grinding machines (RV3000) form Samputensili ensure maximum precision and efficiency for production of straight or taper screws, single or multiple threads, constant or variable pitch and any of a vast range of profiles. The design concept of the RV3000 makes it particularly suitable for manufacturing circulating ball screws and plastic extrusion screws (constant pitch and variable root diameter, double thread, co-rotating and variable pitch). Exact axis position is read by high-resolution Heidenhain direct position transducers. Peripheral wheel speed is automatically maintained by the NC, which calculates angular speed according to the wheel?s outside diameter checked after each dressing operation. Vibration is reduced to a minimum by continuous automatic wheel balancing unit. The welded machine base offers internal damping to reduce vibration. Oil vapour aspiration system with electrostatic filters ensure clean working environment. The work area is shielded by two sliding doors fitted with bulletproof glass to protect operators from injury. Linear movements are achieved with high precision circulating ball screws driven by DC motors.
