Techno Force offers Thin film dryers used for continuous drying of heat sensitive products with total solvent recovery. The company offers vertical, horizontal or combination dryers to take feed in solution, slurry, paste or wet powder form. Features: feeds can be processed without pre-treatment or dilution; indirect heating and drying in absence of air - particularly effective for heat, light and oxygen sensitive products; operating pressure can be as low as 1 mbar and operating temperature can be as high as 350?C (650?F); organic solvent bearing feeds can be successfully handled with full solvent recovery, probably the most energy efficient dryer in the market; thermal efficiency can exceed 90%; and fine powder of uniform consistency can eliminate pulverizes from downstream step. Applications: a) drying - pharmaceuticals, bulk drugs and intermediates; dyes, pigments and intermediates; and organic and inorganic salts; b) recoveries - solvent and products from thick dry residues; DMSO from salts; glycerine from salts; and organic and salts from waste streams
