Thermal Fuses

Elmech Industries offers Thermal Fuses. It is designed for use as a safety over temperature device for any thermal application that requires positive one-shot current interruption. It will automatically open a circuit and switch off an appliance, if permissible operating temperature of application is exceeded. The response temperature can only be set by the manufacturers. In order to restore the electric circuit once again the thermal fuse must be substituted as a whole with the same type number and temperature. It is available in type R, B, TS1, TSD that are rated at 250 V AC - 4, 6, 10 A respectively. It is designed for fusing temperature ranging from 160ºC to 340ºC. It is used in irons, ovens, transformers, air conditioners, compressors, coffee makers and computers.Miniature thermal fuses are available in type F, S, T, Y that are rated at 250 V AC - 3, 5, 10 and 12 A respectively. It is housed in PBT enclosure. It is designed for fusing temperature of 75ºC, 100ºC, 120ºC, 130ºC and 145ºC. It is used in power transformers, ballast, adapters, solenoids, printed circuit boards, battery chargers, SMPS, battery packs, heat sinks, electric fans, halogen and fluorescent lamp, photocopiers and printers.
