Tensile testing machines, computerised

Ticom computerised tensile machines have universal application. The substantial two-column machine with channel construction, or portable lightweight model, is designed for metallurgical and research laboratories for determination of tensile strength and elongation of specimen at a required speed as per specimen. The machines are capable of giving accurate data on the physical properties of materials in a rapid and simple manner. These are suitable for conducting tensile tests on materials like aluminium, rubber, plastic, leather, asbestos, PVC, etc, as per various standards like IS, BS, DIN, ASTM, etc. Specimens in shape of wires, cables, dumbbell or stripes can be tested by selection of appropriate grips. All computerised tensile testing machines are supplied with load cell with indicator for load, LVDT with digital indicator, micro switches, push buttons, noise filters, relay contractors for safe and convenient operation, etc, but without Pentium computer. Capacities available from 1 Kg to 10,000 Kgf. Safety features: overload, over travel protection, auto stop and built in hydraulic damper to arrest the return movement. Power: 3-phase 400/440 V AC or single phase 230 V AC. Other specifications: grip separation - 25-1000 mm; accuracy - 1/100 of scale value, i.e., ?1%; speed - alternatively variable stepless speed; press and dies - manual and hydraulic press for different type of dies and different type of specimens; and calibration - in Kgf/KN, checked with NPL/NCB/RTC tested force measuring devices. Also available analogue and electronic tensile testing machines with load cell, digital indicator and LVDT or RVDT with digital indicator.
