Unique diamond series Swiss type CNC auto lathes manufactured by Poly GIM Machinery, Taiwan, are available from Macintel. These lathes have capacity of maximum turning diameter ranging from 20 to 34 mm and maximum turning length ranging form 250 to 268 mm. These machines can produce variety of small and slender components with many driven tool operations. These machines can be equipped to have back working driven tools also along with front working driven tools. They also have cross working driven tools. They have main spindle motor with 3.7/5.5 kW and back spindle motor with 0.55 kW. The machines have high spindle speeds up to 10,000 RPM. The main spindle 5? indexing function is standard. Thus, the machines can produce a variety of jobs. These compact and cost effective machines have rapid speed of 22 metres per minute.
