Street light controller

Rewale Engineering has developed an energy saving device- street light controller, Model Recom-SLC 63. The device saves up to 30%- 50% on electricity consumption of streetlights. It is a microprocessor based device with digital real time clock with 10 years backup time and has got one second time resolution. Built-in multi step voltage control of lamps is useful in setting the intensity as per the requirements. They are also PC compatible to store and analyse any vital data. The devices are made from best quality sheet metal and are powder coated and are self supporting. The devices are ready to accept power factor correction capacitors. The device uses DC contactors developed by the company. The contactors used in this system have a DC electromagnet. The supply to the coil is converted from all three phases. Because of this the contactor and control circuit get their control supply even when any one phase is connected. Because of their special construction, the contactor do not chatter on low voltage, this enhances life of the lamps. The electromagnet in the contactor do not gather dust. The device comes in various models to suit all requirements.
