Stepper motors

Precision Motors offers stepper motors. Besides regular stepper motors, it has recently introduced thin high torque motors to suit the requirements of an increasing number of industries moving towards miniaturization. These motors are of the standard 42 mm diameter with a thickness of only 15 mm. They come in both bipolar and unipolar formats and the bipolars can produce a torque of up to 2.3 kgcm. The motors for exceed demanding international standards of technical excellence. The MTTF (mean time to failure) for these motors is in excess of 11,000 hours. These motors can be used in hand-held medical equipments, small printers, plotters, automation machines or assembly lines. Since they weigh only 90 gm, they are also well suited for applications in ambulatory robotic processes. The company has performance checks conducted at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. The manufacturing process at PMPL has an in-built flexibility to incorporate any changes in technical specifications/requirements enabling them to meet a wide spectrum of user requirements.
