Spray Nozzles For FGD Systems

Bete Fog Nozzle Inc, U.S.A., supplies nozzles for use in open and packed spray towers. The company has extended the range of spiral nozzles to very large flow rates needed for FGD systems. XP Series of spiral nozzles is a design which has an extra large free passage. Due to the combination of erosive and corrosive conditions found in FGD systems, Bete has covered almost all material ranges including alloys to combat extreme conditions in FGD. It has in-house casting foundry in order to gain complete control over the casting of cobalt alloy 6, stainless steel, nickel alloys and other alloys. The nozzles are available in nitride bonded silicon carbide and reaction bonded silicon carbide material. The Bete Laboratory invented droplet analyser is ideally suited to measure the droplet size distribution of large nozzles of FGD slurry service. The company is one of the first in the world capable of casting nickel alloy C-22, a new chromium nickel based alloy with greatly improved corrosion resistance. During the last 20 years it has supplied every type of nozzle designed for FGD systems in all available material throughout the world.
