Ludwig Flow Equipments offers spray ball. Spray ball is a simple and highly effective device for the internal washing of process and storage tanks. It is powered by the cleaning fluid, generates a dense spray to clean every part of the vessel. There is only one moving part and maintenance is zero. No lubrication is necessary which prevents any risks of oil or grease contamination to the product making it ideally suitable for hygiene sensitive applications. All spray balls are widely accepted for applications in the food, beverage, pharmaceutical and chemical industries where fast and thorough cleaning is essential. These versatile units operate with a wide variety of chemicals and detergents in frequently hostile environments and temperatures. Low flow spray ball versions are available for applications where there are limitations on the supply or disposal of water. It provides simple and efficient answer to the requirement of spraying device that will give complete coverage of the surface being cleaned. It has no moving parts and efficiently distributes cleaning solutions at pressure of about 2 - 8 kg/cm2. These are made of high-grade stainless steel AISI 316 and bearing sleeves are 20% carbon PTFE. Operating data - it can be used with chemicals and detergents at temperatures up to 120°C/248°F. These must not be lubricated. This can be cleaned, if necessary, by flushing in a mild detergent solution. With only one moving part, no maintenance is required.
