SPEED MONITORING SYSTEMS WITH RS 232 INTERFACE

AG System Controls offers Speed Monitoring Systems. It is a micro controller based non contact on-line Monitoring System. It has an in-built algorithm to sense over speed/ under speed/ zero speed. It has LED 7-segment display or 2-line alphanumeric back lit LCD display with soft touch keypad for programming. Speed range programmable is form 0-9999 RPM. In-built timers of 0-9999 secs are provided for start up delay and trip delay (nuisance tripping). The input signal to the monitors is from inductive proximity sensor/ optical sensor/ encoders, etc. The speed sensor output will be a non-potential free relay contact of 7 A for alarm activation or motor tripping. The speed switches can be panel mounted/ field mounted and degree of protection provided is IP 45/ IP 55/ IP65. Optional features include: RS 232 port/ online printing; print On request facility with day, date and time with 1000 storage readings for speed data analysis, 4-20 mA output is also provided.
