Solenoid valve, servo-operated

J E Controls manufactures "Servo" operated solenoid valves. They are equipped with a small pilot orifice, which utilises the line pressure operation. When the solenoid is energised, it opens the pilot orifice, releasing the pressure from the top of the valve piston to the outlet side of the valve. This causes an unbalanced pressure across the piston, which opens the main orifice. When the solenoid is de-energised, the pilot valve closes and full line pressure is applied on the top of the piston, thus closing the main valve. The special features are: positive action on high pressure also, best for steam service applications, unaffected by vibrations, nearly unlimited durability. This valve is available in 1/4" to 3" BSP size. Valve body is also available as per customer requirements. The company also manufactures 3-way lever operated solenoid valves/diaphragm/solenoid burners/by-pass type burner (circulation type) direct acting/puppet type and spool type solenoid valves suitable for air, gas, water, steam, LD oil, furnace oil, kerosene and other liquids applications.
