Silver Plating Process

Ronuk Industries manufactures a complete range of chemicals for: buffing and polishing, electroplating, phosphating, degreasing, pickling, printed circuit board plating, chemical polishes, and effluent treatment. The company has a wide range of products for silver plating including salts and brighteners for specification plating for industrial and engineering applications for electronics, electrical contacts, aircraft bearings as well as decorative applications. Usex silver: general-purpose silver salts of heavy deposits with fine-grained finishes and to be buffed and polished to obtain brightness. Brighteners AGM 186 and AGR 187 can be used for enhancing the finish. Serissa 13: hard mirror bright silver deposits with high ductility to any desired thickness can be achieved for use along with AGM-186 and AGR-187. Serissa 13 silver salts can be used for not only strike salts, but for low, medium and heavy deposits with the necessary enrichment of plating solutions. Silron: hard bright silver salts similar to Serissa 13 and to be used with either AGM-186 or AGR-187 or organic brighteners Silrog A and Silrog B. Brightners AGM: 186 and AGR-187: combination silver brighteners “Par Excellence” with good grain refining and brilliance without subsequent buffing. Amalgamating salts: for heavy built up and specification requirements. Basic chemicals: silver cyanide, silver potassium cyanide, silver nitrate, silver chloride – made to order and to customer’s requirements as per ISI and electroplating standards. Protective coating after plating: Silcop – a concentrated alkaline solution for preventing tarnishing of plated surfaces of copper, brass, silver and gold. There are other processes as well, for various applications.
