Micro Engineering Works offers a Servo Precision Drilling Machine, SPDM-P-201. Features: drive through a belt pulley arrangement; adjustable depth stop; drill holding by keyless drill chuck; hardened and ground spindle mounted on precision high speed bearings housed in accurately ground bores; conveniently placed controls; precision geometry and function guaranteed; and mains operated single phase motor. Applications: small and very small holes in high precision components, tool manufacture, prototype in high precision components, laboratory work, batch manufacture in the electronic, jewellery, clock making and related industries. Technical data - drilling capacity in steel: from 0 to 3 mm; clamping range of keyless drill chuck: from 0 to 3 mm; drilling depth: 30 mm; drilling head adjustment along the column (vertical): 150 mm; dimensions of the table: 160 x 150 mm; dimensions of the machine: 350 X 185 X 350 mm; horizontal over hand distance between column and drilling axis: 180 mm.
