Servo Controlled Voltage Stabilisers

Industrial Electronics (India) manufactures servo controlled voltage stabilisers as per IS: 9815. These stabilisers are designed normally to meet the requirements of a majority of voltage control problems. In servo controlled automatic voltage stabilisers, the output voltage is monitored and sensed continuously by a control circuitry. This circuitry controls the movement of a low speed high torque bi-directional stepper-synchronous motor operating to step-down or step-up the input voltage as per requirement by using a series of buck/boost transformer and a continuously variable voltage auto transformer combination. The stabiliser is equipped with voltmeters to indicate both input and output voltages. In case of three phase units, provision is made for measuring phase to phase and phase to neutral voltage. Facility for auto manual operation enables the users to control the output voltage manually as and when required. This feature is extremely useful at site for checking the automatic operation of the stabiliser. Indicating lamp is provided to show that the input voltage is beyond the range of correction for the unit. Output voltage may be set within a range of about 20 V (line to neutral) under proportionate loading conditions and input voltage range shift. The output voltage accuracy is set for stability within ?1 per cent of the nominal value. Easily replaceable plug-in control card ensures fast replacement. Control card is printed on a glass epoxy board. Gold plated contacts ensure faultless contact and long life. Easy replacement of card, no waveform distortion, negligible phase shift, wide frequency range from 47 to 63 Hz, low internal impedance and fast correction of voltage are the other salient features of the stabiliser.
