Self-adhesive fasteners

Baroda Insulation, Vadodara, offers Self Adhesive Fasteners (SAF), the most suitable mechanical fasteners for installation of cold insulation materials such as rigid PUF, RB slabs, flexible fibreglass mattresses and expanded polystyrene (EPS) and other flexible thermal insulating materials on ducts, tanks and vessels. These fasteners are aluminium pins with flat/perforated GI base having double-sided adhesive foam tape. The interlamination strength of the adhesive foam tape is very high and gives excellent adhesion between the SAF and surface of application. The application method is very simple, fast and cost effective. Fixing is done by removing the adhesive cover from the base of the SAF and fixing it to the surface of application. The insulating material is inserted through the pin on the surface, the split washer is inserted on to the pin and the level of washer is adjusted as per the thickness of the insulating material. The speciality of the washer is that it can move in one direction only.
