SEALLESS CANNED MOTOR PUMPS

Dynamic Pumps & Projects manufactures canned motor pumps. These are designed for handling hazardous, obnoxious and volatile fluids in the chemical and process industry. These conform to Hydraulic Institute standards which consist of single stage or multistage centrifugal pump driven by flame/ explosion proof squirrel cage canned induction motor operating on 3-phase, 450 V, 50 Hz, AC supply. This is basically a monoblock pump with back pull out design but without gland packings or mechanical seal for sealing liquid being pumped. A very interesting feature of this kind of pump is the liquid being pumped is made to circulate inside the canned motor which provides lubrication to the journal bearings and takes away heat of the stator winding and bearings inside the canned motor. Entire rotor assembly is rotating on journal bearings without protruding outside hermetically sealed pump and motor stator body assembly. Automatic axial thrust balancing is incorporated in our design besides micro thermostat/ thermistor and bearing monitors are provided for safety of the canned motor. Models are offered in various capacities upto 250 m3/hr and heads upto 500 m.
