Screwdriver - hammer type

Thane-based JK Files & Tools offers a hammer type screwdriver. It is generally found that the screwdrivers go out of use, due to broken handles and blade tips. This is mainly due to the practice of hammering the screwdriver handle. Although the cellulose acetate handle is quite capable of absorbing light hammer blows, however, it cannot withstand heavy hammering. This new hammer type screwdriver is for those who cannot get out of this habit. The blades are made from spring steel, hardened precisely, to ensure that the tips do not get broken or twisted easily. The steel cap on the handle top, connected to the spring steel blades ensures that the impact of hammering is not transferred to the cellulose acetate handle. However, care must be taken that this very useful tool is not used on live electrical installations. It is available in blade diameters of 8 mm only and in lengths of 150 mm, 200 mm, 250 mm and 300 mm.
