Salt Spray Cabinet

Salt Spray Cabinet is used to determine the corrosion of surface coating when exposed to a salt environment. Test can be carried out on the samples by spraying salt solution into the chamber. The corrosion rates are expressed as weight loss with time. The apparatus consists of: salt spray chamber, PID digital temperature indicator cum controller, digital timer with memory backup, heater with sensor, atomising nozzles, hanging arrangement with tray as per standard, safety feature water level sensor and thermostat with indicator and buzzer, oil free compressor, and a suitable trolley. The chamber sizes are: 450 x 250 x 250 mm, 680 x 420 x 410 mm, and 900 x 500 x 370 mm.
