Safety Shut Off Valves

Nirmal offers Safety Shut Off Valves, SH3 Series. These valves are the emergency shut down device generally used ideally for safety shut off of hazardous liquid or gas supply such as, natural gas, LPG, hydrogen, oxygen, ammonia, etc. These valves protect the downstream equipment and pipeline from accidental over pressure. Features: tight shut off capability - special trim design eliminates wear and erosion of seating providing excellent tight shut off capability over long working life; temper resistant - an adjusting screw lock nut and protective cap is standard to discourage tampering with pressure setting; wide range of flow and pressure setting - wide range of body sizes available to satisfy varied flow requirements; different set pressure ranges are available to cover set pressures from 20m bar g. to 35 bar g; local valve position indication - valve open/close position is clearly indicated by large indicator dial; remote feedback option - limit switches can be provided on slam shut valve to give remote feedback/indication in control room; and built in pressure equalization in reset mechanism - on slight turning of the reset shaft, a small equalizing orifice inside the valve opens and equalizes inlet and outlet pressure, hence separate by-pass valve for pressure equalization is not required. Specifications: body size and connections: flanged 1inch, 11/2inch, 2inches, 3inches, 4inches, 6inches & 8inches ANSI B16.5 Class 150 and 300 ratings (higher ratings on request); temperature capabilities: -25°C to 80°C with nitrile elastomeric parts, -15°C to 180°C with fluoropolymer elastomeric parts; and pressure registration: downstream control line.
