- This is a multi operation job with huge size that is 2045 mm OD and 1050 mm bore machined on a large size facing lathe.18 holes of close tolerance on a PCD of 1150mm equispaced.
- Material is IS 2062 Steel tested in all respects Chemical, Ultrasonic, Physical etc.
- A precision Drill Jig of sector type is used to drill 32 & 13 mm hole.
- Relation Gauge has been designed and manufactured for this large size component for processing on a heavy type.
- Milled on a Plano milling machine to part off the ring in 2 segments.
- Painting as per standards.
- First coat of 40 micron. Intermediate coat of 40 micron.
- Finish coat with Polyurethane Paint to 50 micron.
