ROTOCONE VACCUM DRYER (RCVD)

Millenium Equipments(MEPL) manufactures rotocone vaccum dryer (RCVD). It is suitable for drying of materials that: cannot resist high temperature; are easily oxidized; are volatile and should be retrieved; are strong irritants and poisonous in nature. It facilitates enhanced drying efficiency, low temperature operation and economy of process by total solvent recovery. It helps GMP based working by achieving optimum dust control, while offering advantages of efficient charging and discharging of materials. The drying unit equipped with lump breakers initially breaks large lumps and subsequently powders them. The rotary action of the dryer together with mechanical action of the breakers, cuts down drying time and gives a lump free product. Advantages include: eliminates need for redrying of lumps; handling and exposure of final product is avoided, gives uniformity size dry product; can process crystalline or amorphous powders which are prone for lumps; and easy to clean internal surface. Features: total GMP finish construction with closed drive unit; jacket fabrication to accept varied heating sources; pulse jet type dust filter is provided inside the cone to avoid the escape of product; cyclone separator; suitable size condenser and receiver provided for solvent; mechanical seals for vacuum and hot water connection; seamless piping connections; digital temperature and pressure gauges for monitoring; FLP motor and electricals; vacuum pump and variable speed drive.
