Rotary Switches

Suraj Electronics offers Rotary Switches. These are hand-operated switches in open execution. These switches are used for isolation of power circuits and switching of auxiliary circuits. Technical data: insulation resistance greater than 2000 mega ohms; rating 16, 25, 32, 40, 63 and 100 A/440 V AC; withstand a high voltage of 2.5 kV for one minute; suitable for use up to 50?C (max); mounting arrangements: flush at the back of panel & flush at the front of panel (base mounting); and conform to IS 13947 (Part I & II) 1993 specifications. These switches incorporate rotary action; air break type silver/gold plated wiping contacts, housed in an assembly of packets moulded from anti-tracking thermosetting plastics. Actuating mechanism to achieve desired switching action operates the stationary and moving contacts. The switches are designed for on load switching and range covers up to 100 A/440 V AC, 4 poles and 8 position standard operations.
