Roller Section Straightening Machine

Design Fabrication & Consultant Engineers offers a Roller Section Straightening Machine. This is most suitable for straightening of any rolled, drawn or extruded ferrous and non-ferrous sections in cold condition. This machine is engineered to give trouble free, long life service. The body and the base of the machine are fabricated from mild steel and steel plants duly stress relieved and machined as per design. All straightening rolls (top and bottom) are mounted on cantilever type spindle. This arrangement is most suitable where quick change of rolls is required. The gangs of bottom rolls are driven by a distribution gear train. The directions of bottom rolls are clockwise/anticlockwise depending upon the type of material. The top rolls are designed for applying straightening pressure on the material. These rolls have up-down and axial adjustment from front by hand wheels or optional motorised system. All spindles are supported by heavy taper roller bearings to radial and axial load encountered in straightening. According to size of the sections, the company offers six regular models of the machine to suit various requirements. These machines are used in hot rolling mills, transmission line tower manufacturers, general fabricators and cold drawn hexagon, square and profile bars and hot extruded sections.
