Roller bearings

Back-up roll bearings with high accuracy are manufactured by Bearing & Basic Component (India). They are used for thinner gauge uniform thickness strip rolling. These bearings have good working accuracies with run out of less than 5 microns. The outer races are manufactured from either full hardened bearing quality high carbon chrome bearing steel or case hardened medium carbon chrome steel or nickel chrome molybdenum steel. The outside diameter is provided with chamfers at the corners and relief towards the edges to relieve the loading stresses. Inner rings and rollers are generally manufactured from high carbon chrome bearing steel and are fully hardened. Rollers also have properly finished corners and are cambered to avoid stress concentration at the ends. Back-up roll bearings can be supplied in sets with "T" dimension within 5 microns. The company also manufactures special custom built bearings as per customer"s requirements or drawings/samples.
