Rodless Cylinders

Nucon, in collaboration with IMI Norgren Ltd, offers a wide range of LINTRA Rodless Cylinders of unique design having mechanically coupled carriage without the piston rod. LINTRA cylinders have design patent for the special ZIPLOCK sealing system in these cylinders which is unique for such type of rodless cylinders. These cylinders are more suitable where: there is space restriction as they reduce overall space taken by the piston rod; and longer stroke lengths are required (up to 8,000 mm is available). These cylinders are intended to take on side loads. User areas include: pick and place applications; rubber sheet cutting applications; spray painting booths; feeding applications; and filling liquids in barrels. They are available in bore sizes from 16 mm to 80 mm. Guides include: internal guide, external guide and precision roller guide. Special features include: active brake, passive brake and magnetic piston with reed switches.
