These are very high precision test and inspection tools employed to examine internal structures and cavities in manufacturing process, quality control inspections and as an aid in R&D projects. The rigid borescopes from Richard Wolf are manufactured in a wide range with various diameters, working lengths, direction of view and field of view. The advantages of the superior image quality and brightness of any of these borescopes are evident when video or photo camera systems are used for documentation purposes. These borescopes are constructed of stainless steel tubings, some models with stainless steel or chromium plate eye piece section. They have heat resistance up to +135°C and also resistance till -50°C, pressure resistance up to 4 bar with absolute water proof. A basic rigid borescope system consists of a borescope, a light source and a light guide. One can add many accessories like adaptors with video and photographs carrying case, changeable objectives for direction of view from 0° to 112°. The standard rigid borescopes are supplied with a diameter of 1.9, 2.7, 4, 5 and 10 mm with the length from 120 up to 1290 mm.
