RFID Readers

Farpointe Data is the manufacturer of the Pyramid Series Proximity line of OEM proximity-RFID readers, cards, and tags. Commonly referred to as "card keys," typical applications for Pyramid Series readers, cards, and tags include electronic security, card access control, and time & attendance. Pyramid Series Proximity is a line of OEM proximity readers, cards, and tags designed for electronic access control. Based upon proven contact less digital radio frequency identification (RFID) technology, the line assures compatibility with the widest range of standard electronic access control systems by making use of industry standard interfaces, such as the Wiegand format. The Indala Capable Proximity Reader, MCR-403, is a single piece reader providing compatibility with Indala"s ASP 26-bit Wiegand formatted cards and tags. Read range is up to four inches (102 mm) using ASC-121T+ cards. Output is 26-bit Wiegand. May be fitted with the range of doorframe and wall-switch FlexPass covers. Includes a four state LED (red, green, amber, and off), an audio tone, and black cover standard. Also manufactured is HID Compatible Proximity Readers ( up to 14" read range).
