Rework System for Resoldering

Sumitron Exports offers Ultra-Spheres brand solder balls from Kester Solder, Singapore. These are high purity spheres for those ball grid array (BGA) applications that demand a high precision product. Ultra-Spheres solder balls are attached to the pad sites of BGA components for initial attachment and rework. These solder balls are manufactured directly from molten solder to yield a uniform composition of metal without segregation. Another advantage is its microstructure, which displays tight and condensed grain boundaries. The surface condition of these balls feature very low oxide layers. Standard alloy Sn63 Pb37 of diameter 0.030 inch is available, which has a melting range of 183 deg C.
