Relay interface modules

Boost electronics manufactures Interface modules. They are universal interface elements between the peripherals and the 110 level of automation devices for all areas of measurement, control and regulation systems, and process engineering and control instrumentation systems. Panel assembly, planning, system start-up, modifications, troubleshooting and field cabling are simplified and optimised to a great extent by these modules. Relay interface modules are used for electrical isolation between input and output or multiplying contacts. The main aim of these modules is to guarantee the exchange of signals between process peripherals and the super-ordinate control systems. This exchange must be potential free and provide reliable operation. The other features are electrical isolation between open contacts, independence of the type of switching current and ease of operation. The company offers a wide range of these modules with a variety of voltage and power levels, as well as specific modules to suit a given system. Modules where pure AC voltage relays are used (input), the input circuit comprises of a green LED as a visual status indicator. In the case of a pure DC input, the damping diode is added. This diode limits the inductive cut-off voltages occurring in the coil to a value of approx. 0.7V, which is safe for a connected electronic control. These are available in various channel and contact configurations.
