Refrigerated air dryers

Star Cooling Tower offers refrigerated air dryers. Compressed air coming out of the air compressor is contaminated with moisture, oil, and dust particles. The air should be cleaned before going to the pneumatic equipments. There is one way of removing the moisture from the compressed air by cooling down the air up to 4?C. The refrigerated air drier having pre cooler (air to air heat exchangers) cools the incoming warm air with the outgoing cold dry air. The pre cooled air further cools down in the evaporator by means of the refrigerant and it passes through the moisture separator to remove the condense water particles from the compressed air automatically. Salient features: refrigerant drier having hermitically sealed compressor for smaller capacity and open type for higher capacities; air-cooled/water-cooled condenser as per the atmospheric conditions and sizes; tube in tube, heat exchanger made out of copper used for pre cooler and evaporator for effective heat transfer; LED temperature display provided to monitor the dew point; non-cycling design provides consistently maintaining low dew point; hot gas bye pass line capillary tube provided to operate the drier effectively; skid mounted PUF insulated ready to use condition; and dew point achieved + 4?C pressure dew point. Applications: CNC machines, painting systems, instruments, etc.
